Car attack in West Bank injures three Featured

PM Netanyahu:"I find it strange that those who hastened to condemn terrorism against Palestinians are silent when terrorism is directed against Jews."

Three soldiers were wounded Thursday afternoon in a vehicular attack near the Israeli community of Shiloh in the West Bank. Two are in serious condition with head and chest injuries while the third suffered light to moderate wounds. The Palestinian terrorist was driving south and veered to the side of the road at a group of four soldiers who were securing the area.

While the attacker was able to hit three of the soldiers, the fourth opened fire at the vehicle, critically wounding the driver and overturning his car, trapping the attacker inside. He was later evacuated to the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "I would like to praise the action of the IDF soldiers who reacted quickly and neutralized the terrorist, and to wish a full recovery to the injured. I find it strange that those who hastened to condemn terrorism against Palestinians are silent when terrorism is directed against Jews."

President Reuven Rivlin: "I am proud of our soldiers who responded immediately against the terrorist who carried out the horrific attack on Route 60. We do not and will never tolerate terrorism."
